Red-hot England winger Raheem Sterling has been named All Football Player of the Week!
Sterling highlights our All Football Team of the Week and was selected as a competitive candidate in our All Football Player of the Week Vote, in which he casts the most votes beating Hazard, Depay, Griezmann & Schulz to the award.
The incredible winger scored his first hat-trick for England to lead his team to a comfortable 5-0 win over the Czech Republic at Wembley. It also saw him match an England record that has stood for 20 years.
The Manchester City forward became the first England player to score hat-tricks for both club and country in the same month since Alan Shearer achieved the feat way back in 1999. (Sterling scored three times for Man City against Watford earlier this month.)
What made him different was that he scored again on Monday's game. Sterling scored the Three Lions' fifth and final goal on Monday as England took down Montenegro 5-1 in their 2nd Euro 2020 qualifier game.
In total, Sterling has scored 8 goals for Man City and England in March 2019. He is scoring more often than ever before has his form has carried over for both club and country.
